One standard for
Your EAs learned the job alone, so support quality changes from desk to desk and your executives feel it. The EA Professional Certification gives the whole team one standard, with AI skills built in. In-house for 8 or more EAs, or a group of 4 or more in a public cohort.
- Training EAs since 2017
- Enterprise and government
- Built by a former EA
Watch: the 5 minute brief for HR, L&D and EA leaders.
Amanda Vinci has trained EAs across enterprise, government and growing businesses since 2017.
Every EA does the job a little differently
Your EAs work closer to your executives than almost anyone. They're also one of the roles most affected by AI.
No shared standard
One EA is flying, another is getting by. Your executives feel the gap.
Things get missed
Details slip, work gets done twice, and executives lose time they don't have.
AI tools sit unused
The tools got rolled out, but nobody showed the EAs how to use them in their role.
EAs come and go
And it's really disruptive. Your executive starts again from scratch.
Generic training doesn't fix it, because it isn't built for the EA role.
What the gap costs you
The rework keeps happening. Things caught late keep getting caught late. Executives end up catching things themselves.
Every time a strong EA leaves, the executive starts again from scratch, and the team drifts back to everyone doing their own thing.
And the AI tools you're already paying for keep sitting unused.
None of it shows up as a line item. It shows up as your executives' time.
One standard for every EA
AI doesn't replace the value of an EA. It creates more opportunities to apply it. But only if they know how.
The EA Professional Certification gives your whole team one standard: the High Performing Executive Assistant Standard. Six units, from moving beyond reactive support to strategic operation, through influence and presence, ownership of decisions, credibility, leadership visibility, and future-focused thinking.
Built for EAs, by a former EA.
That's what the in-house format is built to do. Every EA learns the same standard, together. Same language, same quality of support, no matter which EA picks up the request.

Two ways to run it
In-house cohort
For 8 or more EAs
We run the certification for your team only, and every EA learns the same standard, together.

What your organisation gets
And if AI training is already on your plan, this points it at the team closest to your executives.
- A clear, externally defined professional standard for the EA role
- Confidence in EA capability beyond task execution
- A shared language for performance and development
- Fewer things missed before they reach your executives
- A credential that tells your EAs you're investing in their career
Most organisations have EAs all working to different standards, because everyone learned the job alone. We run the certification in-house so the whole team works to one standard, AI included.
EAs from large organisations and government have completed the program.
EAs from these organisations have completed the program
I printed the leadership distinctions and put them up at my desk, and I've had quite a number of people stop and really take them in. It's been great to see colleagues reflect on what they're doing and then work it into their conversations and project work.

For government departments and agencies
Support stays steady whoever is in the chair. And this fits the capability planning you're already doing for next financial year.
For organisations with several EAs
It's a fit if
- You have four or more EAs supporting your executives
- You're a large enterprise, a government department or agency, or a mid-sized business
- You want every EA working to the same high standard
- AI training is on your plan, and your EAs should be part of it
- You want to keep your best EAs, and show them a path to grow
It's not a fit if
- You're after a one-off AI webinar for the whole business
- You're looking for generic admin training
Fewer than four EAs? Individual EAs can still join a public cohort. Book a session and we'll point you the right way.
Former EA
Meet Amanda Vinci
Amanda started as an EA and worked her way up to supporting senior executives. She knows what executives need from their EAs, and what gets missed when there's no standard.
She founded The EA Institute in 2017 to raise the standard for the profession. Since then the team has trained EAs across enterprise, government and growing businesses.
Amanda is an accredited coach and keynote speaker, a Woman of Influence for 2026, and the founder of the APAC Admin Awards.
Our commitment
Every EA who completes the certification is covered by our commitment: if they don't graduate with clearer language, confidence and positioning than when they started, we will continue to work with them until they do.
Good questions to ask
How much does it cost?
What happens in the EA team plan session?
How many EAs do we need?
Is this an AI course?
Will our EAs think this is about replacing them with AI?
Does it work for government?
Do our EAs need a prior qualification?
What does each EA finish with?
